What the viewer shows

The design in the colors you set, the number of color changes, each stop with its stitch count, and, on the run sheet, the total stitches. A DST file stores stitches and color changes but no colors, so the colors start as placeholders.

Worked example

The sample flower on this page has 8 stops in three threads: green (stem and two leaves), pink (three petals) and gold (bee and center). The viewer shows 8 stops, 7 color changes and 754 stitches. The petals are the largest stops at 129 to 130 stitches each.

Questions

Why are the colors wrong?

DST files hold no thread colors. Set each stop's swatch to your spool.

Does it open PES, JEF or EXP?

Not yet; DST only.

Can I see stitch counts?

Yes, on each stop and on the run sheet.
